Don’t wait to repair a fridge
Once the fridge warms up, food starts to spoil within hours, and a compressor running non-stop burns electricity and can fail. If you notice weak cooling, ice build-up or an unusual noise, contact us early.
Quick checks before you call
Make sure the fridge is plugged in, the thermostat has not been moved, the door seals properly and there is ventilation space behind it. If the problem stays, read our article on why a fridge stops cooling, or message us directly.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my fridge not cooling while the freezer works?
Usually the cold-air channel between the freezer and fridge is blocked with ice because the defrost system failed, or the freezer fan has stopped, or a sensor or air damper is faulty.
Do you repair fridges at home?
Yes, most refrigerator faults are fixed at home. Only a few major repairs may need the workshop, and only with your approval.
Is it worth repairing an old fridge?
It depends on the fault and the fridge’s age. A sensor, defrost heater or fan costs little compared with a new fridge. We give you an honest opinion after diagnosis.
What temperature should a fridge and freezer be?
Around 3–4 °C for the fridge and −18 °C for the freezer — the commonly recommended settings for safe food storage.
